This afternoon I’m planting a bunch of cuttings that I’ve rooted over the summer. I’m excited about (literally) getting my hands dirty. One of the simplest and and greatest pleasures in my life is taking care of my plants. (If I liked animals more I’m sure I’d be well on the road to crazy cat lady, but as it stands, my plants are my babies.) I’m dreaming of the day I have a big, sunny back porch, or (gasp) a back yard.
Above is my hoya (inherited from Aaron), which has this amazing albino streak, with pink stems and white leaves. I don’t like choosing favorites, but if I had to, this one would be it.
