Stills from The Illusionist, Sylvain Chomet’s long-awaited follow-up to The Triplets of Belleville. It is based on an unproduced script by none other than the late, great Jacques Tati, and as you can see the main character is based on his likeness (it isn’t said if this character is Monsieur Hulot, though).
