books are better than boys

I live in Chicago but I'm an east coast girl at heart. I like bicycles, beer, and books.

The woman who would always wish me a “happy Friday” first thing Friday mornings no longer works at my office.  But today I feel really freaking happy (maybe this is what happens when you wake up the morning after you had an ice cream cone at 10pm and then went straight to bed as to finally get a good night’s sleep), and it’s Friday, so I decided to take over the “happy Friday” well-wishing today.  I also decided to eat almost an entire pint of strawberries.  (Yum! Spring!)  And then I came across this video which makes me smile every single time.

So, what’s up happiness?  And Friday?  I’m all about the two of you today.  You make the most awesome couple ever.  And I’m not even bummed about going home and doing chores, because I’ve got happy and Friday on my side.  You should get on board with this, dear readers.  Today is the perfect day to be in an absurdly good mood.
