I definitely registered for the AAG annual meeting yesterday.

Now I just have to submit an abstract so I can present.  And by ‘submit’ I mean that I need to decide if I’m going to present an old paper/research or present new stuff and then actually write the abstract - by the 20th.  Exciting stuff, no?

Although I have more than enough work to fill my time, I’m spending precious moments considering whether or not I should get Netflix so that I can rewatch Northern Exposure and Murder She Wrote.
I realize that spending time on brainstorming ways that I can continue to procrastinate and be unproductive is ridiculous, but this what it has come to.  I haven’t even been doing my normal procrastination routine of cleaning obsessively (which, lucky for me, is very productive - my apartment is generally cleanest during finals week or times of personal crises).
But seriously, I should just get Netflix, because now I really want to watch Northern Exposure.  (Preferably tonight.  Do you think it’s one of those watch instantly jawns?  I hope so.  But I probably won’t end up getting it, because I know that it will be the ruin of me.)

Lessons in procrastination (part 2).Create a new cross stitch pattern. Execute pattern while drinking a seven and seven (call it making Christmas gifts, so it sounds productive). Thus successfully avoiding that which you dread.
